Senior Pastor Jeff & Susan Fowler are leaders with a passion to see the people of our community experiencing the blessed life that comes through knowing Jesus Christ.

When they began their ministry here in 1990, their years in two previous pastorates and background in evangelistic ministry, had perfectly equipped them for the needs of a community that would soon become one of the fastest growing in the nation. Since that time they have nurtured the church's growth, while continuing its historical emphasis on revival.

Pastor Fowler has been a minister with the Assemblies of God since 1985, serving as a Pastor and as an Evangelist. He has also been involved in Christian Education, Youth Ministry, and worked on various committees within the fellowship. Pastor Jeff and Susan have been married for 31 years. They have two daughters and three grandchildren.

Scott George
Student Ministries Pastor
Pastor Scott was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. He grew up in the church his whole life as he attended First Assembly of God in Niagara Falls. At about the age of 13, when he entered youth ministry, he realized that a relationship with the Lord is the most important thing that a person can have and made a personal decision to always follow Christ. Shortly after this, at the age of 15, he and his family moved to Hurricane, WV.

It was at an all night district prayer meeting where Pastor Scott received his calling into full time ministry. After graduating H.S. he attended Valley Forge Christian College in Philadelphia, Pa, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and where he married his wife Chrisanne on January 2nd, 2004. Pastor Scott and Chrisanne joined our family here at Golden Gate Assembly of God on September 10, 2006.

Karen Bonard Karter
Children's Pastor
Karen has dedicated her life to the ministry of children since she gave her heart to the Lord in 1983. Through preaching, teaching, discipling, challenging, and preparing, she is committed to equipping this generation to live wholly unto God in a world that so often impacts our young people in a negative way. She has a love for the ministry to children and enjoys using creative ways to reach them and get them active in ministry.

Her life has been greatly blessed by her wonderful husband, daughter, son, & his family.

Terry Morgan
Church Administrator
Terry Morgan and his wife Brenda have been a vital part of our church family since 1983. He has served on the Board of Deacons and as Treasurer for the past 22 years. In addition to his position as Church Administrator, Terry directs our Hospital Visitation Ministry. He shares the vision of the Pastor and congregation, which is to effectively minister to the people of our community with the love and power of God.
