eff & Susan's lives were transformed by the awesome power of God! Today they are leaders with a passion to see the people of our community experiencing the blessed life that comes through knowing Jesus Christ.
From the very beginning, Golden Gate Assembly of God had a desire to experience the same thing that Pastor Jeff and Susan had seen for years as they ministered in evangelistic meetings and in two previous pastorates: people getting right with God, and lives being transformed by His awesome power!
They began their ministry here in 1990. Since that time they have nurtured the church's growth, while continuing its historical emphasis on revival.
Pastor Fowler has been a minister with the Assemblies of God since 1985, serving as a Pastor and as an Evangelist. He has also been involved in Christian Education, Youth Ministry, and worked on various committees within the fellowship. Jeff and Susan have been happily married for 33 years. They have two daughters and five grandchildren.
